What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Nice upgrade
Third car I've run on Falken. Consistent quality every time. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending.

Fitted and forgotten
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too.

Happy with the purchase
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Worth the money
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Eurowinter HS02 PRO genuinely surprised me. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Good grip in the wet
Very quiet on tarmac. The Eurowinter HS02 PRO made my commute noticeably more relaxed.

Does what it says
Second set of Falken on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Had these through a full season now. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
