What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Had them fitted last month. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Comfortable over rough surfaces. Stable and precise in summer heat.
