Description

Firestone Roadhawk - built to perform longer

Performance decays over life – from agility to outright ability. The Firestone Roadhawk tyre retains its performance characteristics in road conditions where wet weather, heavy traffic, sudden braking and motorway speed are all part of the daily mix.

Suitable for electric vehicles
Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity
Integrated rim protection strip against kerb damage
Strong wet grip (class A)

As a summer tyre, the Roadhawk is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Smooth ride
Bought a full set of Firestone for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain.

Braking feels secure
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Ride comfort is the standout. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Firestone delivers again
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. My mechanic recommended Firestone and he was right.

Would buy again
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. Had these through a full season now. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Handles well
Switched from a budget brand to the Roadhawk — the difference in braking is obvious. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Roadhawk genuinely surprised me.
