What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

A step up from my old set
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Firestone delivers again
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Vanhawk Multiseason grips well on dry roads. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Decent for the price
Bought a full set of Firestone for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Solid choice
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable all-season tyre without overspending. Had these through a full season now.

Decent for the price
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it.
