Description

The high-performance winter tyre for challenging road conditions offers superb grip on snowy, wet and dry roads. The Snow-Catcher-Technology is a special arrangement of the tread grooves in the middle area. This compresses the snow and provides an optimal basis for good grip. The "Bubble Blade" composite slat technology enables superb winter performance with good profile stability at the same time.

High mileage
Excellent control on snow
Strong dry performance on winter roads

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

A step up from my old set
Switched from a budget brand to the Kristall Control HP 2 — the difference in braking is obvious. Early days, but first impressions are very good.

Handles well
My mechanic recommended Fulda and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Kristall Control HP 2 genuinely surprised me. Holds well in snow and slush.

Smooth ride
My mechanic recommended Fulda and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Second set of Fulda on this car. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
