Description

The high-performance winter tyre for challenging road conditions offers excellent grip on snowy, wet and dry roads. The Snow-Catcher-Technology is a special arrangement of the tread grooves in the middle area. This compresses the snow and provides an optimal basis for good grip. The "Bubble Blade" composite slat technology enables excellent winter performance with good profile stability at the same time.

Strong dry performance on winter roads
Outstanding control on snow
High mileage

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Decent for the price
Does exactly what a winter tyre should. Happy with the purchase. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Not the last word in steering feel.

Confidence in corners
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Kristall Control HP 2 grips well on dry roads. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
