As a summer tyre, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

    Quiet and comfortable

    Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.

    Recommended

    Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 genuinely surprised me.

    Nice upgrade

    Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
