Description

This tyre combines Goodyear's longstanding experience in developing high-performance winter tyres.

A stable profile design is required for good drying performance. On snow and ice, on the other hand, flexible blocks are desirable, as only these allow the necessary proper movement to form the gripping edges through the slats.

Goodyear's unique SnowProtect Technology optimally solves these contrary requirements: the 3-dimensional slats lock in the upper area for good stability when new.

In the run-up state, flexible 2-dimensional slats remain for good performance on snow.

What the tyre markings mean

XL
Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S

    Good all-rounder

    Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
