XL

    Fitted and forgotten

    Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Very quiet on tarmac. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

    Quiet and comfortable

    Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted.

    Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

    Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Third car I've run on Goodyear. Not the last word in steering feel.

    Nice upgrade
