What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Good, not perfect
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Nice upgrade
My mechanic recommended Hifly and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Had these through a full season now.

Quiet and comfortable
Switched from a budget brand to the All-Turi 221 — the difference in braking is obvious.

Fair tyre for the money
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. For this price I didn't expect much, but the All-Turi 221 genuinely surprised me.

A step up from my old set
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
