Description

The Kenda KR501 WINTERGEN 2 in size 245/40 R18 97V is one of our passenger car winter tyres.

When temperatures drop, the winter compound and fine siping take over: reliable traction on snow, stable handling in slush and short braking distances in the cold.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

Solid winter tyre
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since.

Does what it says
For this price I didn't expect much, but the KR501 WINTERGEN 2 genuinely surprised me. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Holds well in snow and slush.

Does the job well
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump.

Fair tyre for the money
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Good in town and on the motorway alike.
