Description

SUV Snow – composed winter performance for cold, wet and snowy roads

Kormoran is manufactured by Poland's leading tyre manufacturer Stomil Olsztyn. With more than 25 years of experience in the tyre manufacturing industry, Kormoran has gained good reputation among people. Its ever-increasing share in truck and bus tyre market makes it a major player in the industry. Manufactured by a subsidiary of the world's greatest tyre manufacturer Michelin, Kormoran has established for itself a strong base in the European market.

Optimized fuel consumption due to new silica mixture
Dependable on snow, wet and dry roads thanks to numerous tread blocks and high lamella density
The optimum number and density of grooves, as well as the special angular transverse groove design efficiently reduces the risk of aqua and slush planing

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Trusted Kormoran quality
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Good all-rounder
Good in town and on the motorway alike. Versatile tyre. Does the job, nothing more. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
