M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

For this price I didn't expect much, but the Solus 4S HA32 genuinely surprised me. Ride comfort is the standout. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Not the last word in steering feel.

Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Had these through a full season now. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
