What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Solid winter tyre
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Ordered online, fitted locally. Holds well in snow and slush. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Holds well in snow and slush.

Worth the money
Switched from a budget brand to the MP93 Nordicca — the difference in braking is obvious. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.
