XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Had these through a full season now. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Switched from a budget brand to the Pilot Sport 4S — the difference in braking is obvious.
