What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.

Handles well
Switched from a budget brand to the Pilot Sport 5 — the difference in braking is obvious. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
