The wavy summit layers under the steel cord consist of a special rubber additive that makes the tread profile stiffer, increases braking stability, shortens tyre reaction time and optimises overall handling.

Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect grips well on dry roads. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling.
