What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

A step up from my old set
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Pilot Super Sport genuinely surprised me. Bought on price, staying for the quality. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Decent for the price
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain.

MICHELIN delivers again
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Pilot Super Sport genuinely surprised me. Third car I've run on MICHELIN.

Strong performer
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Handles well
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Does what it says
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Stable and precise in summer heat. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
