It offers excellent safety in winter conditions, with excellent braking performance on snow and an ‘A’ rating for Wet grip on the EU label. The PIRELLI NOISE CANCELLING SYSTEM™ (PNCS) guarantees low noise levels and high driving comfort.
What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Does the job well
Bought a full set of Pirelli for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Good, not perfect
Switched from a budget brand to the P Zero Winter 2 — the difference in braking is obvious. For this price I didn't expect much, but the P Zero Winter 2 genuinely surprised me.
