Description

The Scorpion™ All Terrain Plus offers safety and comfort on all surfaces. The tyre convinces through superb traction on slippery surfaces and perfect vehicle control in the off-road use. Specially formed shoulder treat bars protect the side wall against cuts and cracks and thereby lead to an increased robustness against damages. The specially formed tread grooves with the self-cleaning tread guarantee protection and safety of the tyre.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.
