The Dimax R8+ is the new summer ultra high performance tyre within the Dimax-family. This pattern has especially been developed for vehicles with high top speeds and offers the ideal mixture of wet and dry handling characteristics.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Radar delivers again
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Very quiet on tarmac. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Good grip in the wet
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Switched from a budget brand to the Dimax R8+ — the difference in braking is obvious. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
