The Sumitomo WT 200's horizontal tread grooves with sipes is perfectly designed to pick up snow. Because snow adheres best to snow, this results in enhanced grip on snowy roads. On wet or slushy roads, the liquid can run off to the side via the transverse channels. This reduces the risk of skidding in the wet.

Sumitomo delivers again
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
