Description

Proxes ST III is a new generation Premium Urban Sport tyre designed for SUVs, CUVs and 4x4s. The Proxes ST III has a unidirectional tread and sidewall design with aggressive and sporty appearance. It not only impresses with its design, but also offers improved braking performance in the wet as an important safety feature.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Would buy again
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Reliable summer rubber. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Decent for the price
Switched from a budget brand to the Proxes S/T 3 — the difference in braking is obvious. Had these through a full season now. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Proxes S/T 3 punches above its weight. Comfortable over rough surfaces. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Quality you can feel
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt.

Good, not perfect
Switched from a budget brand to the Proxes S/T 3 — the difference in braking is obvious.

Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Second set of Toyo on this car.
