What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Decent for the price
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet.

Fitted and forgotten
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Good tyre overall. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Reliable summer rubber
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Advan Neova AD09 grips well on dry roads. Bought a full set of Yokohama for the family car.

Recommended
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Stable and precise in summer heat.

All-round good pick
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Fine for the price.
