Description

The latest summer tyre with BluEarth technology

The construction and the A.R.T. compound technology meet the most modern requirements of this vehicle class in terms of driving stability, performance and efficiency

Integrated rim protection strip against kerb damage
Strong wet grip (class A)
Quiet ride with an external rolling noise of just 68 dB

As a summer tyre, the BluEarth-XT AE61 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Good, not perfect
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Bought a full set of Yokohama for the family car. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Confidence in corners
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
