Description

Enhanced wet grip performance with excellent water drainage
The pattern improves safe driving in the changeable snow
Ensures a comfortable and safe ride with enhanced driving stability on snowy surfaces

Certified for severe winter conditions (3PMSF alpine symbol)
M+S marking for mud and snow
Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity

When temperatures drop, the winter compound and fine siping take over: reliable traction on snow, stable handling in slush and short braking distances in the cold.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Quiet and comfortable
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. They're okay.

Worth the money
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

A step up from my old set
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased.

Good, not perfect
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. For this price I didn't expect much, but the A701 genuinely surprised me. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Great value for money
Switched from a budget brand to the A701 — the difference in braking is obvious.

Worth the money
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Does exactly what a summer tyre should.
