As a summer tyre, the Aspire 4G+ is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Second set of Apollo on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Second set of Apollo on this car. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Does what it says
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Stable and precise in summer heat.
