What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Good, not perfect
My mechanic recommended Austone and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints.

Reliable summer rubber
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Ordered online, fitted locally. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Impressed so far
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Solid everyday tyre. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Would buy again
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Early days, but first impressions are very good. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Braking feels secure
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Fine for the price.
