Description

The Austone SP701 is an inexpensive quality tire from Asia. The tire is produced by a tire manufacturer with many years of experience in the tire production. The Austone SP701 is manufactured in a technologically advanced way and underlies strict qualities controls in each manufacturing step. Developed for a versatile use with best driving characteristics, the standards of quality become visible in every tire detail.

The advantages of Austone SP701:

The Austone SP701 fulfils all requirements and standards of the European markets and offers an unbeatable price-performance-ratio at the same time.

The thread with variable inclination reduces resonance noise; the large block design ensures a precise driving experience
Asymmetric tread design and dynamic block, closed and decreased lateral grooves guarantee ideal, whisper-quiet performance
Four wide longitudinal grooves provide excellent drainage performance

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

A step up from my old set
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Good tyre overall.

Okay for everyday driving
Third car I've run on Austone. Consistent quality every time. Switched from a budget brand to the SP 701 — the difference in braking is obvious. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fitted and forgotten
For this price I didn't expect much, but the SP 701 genuinely surprised me. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
