Description

Summer HP 2 – the ideal choice for long distances and durability

Enjoy sporty driving while maintaining comfort. The Summer HP 2 is your ideal compromise. Its high-performance design combines a tyre-optimised tread with excellent handling characteristics. Designed for drivers who expect more from a tyre: more driving pleasure, safety and excellent value for money.

Innovative tyre tread with a new rubber compound reduces tyre weight by approx. 8%, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and more environmentally friendly driving.
The sports tyre for summer
The combination of a centre groove and various cuts reduces tread stiffness and improves driving comfort.
Modern tread technology significantly reduces rolling resistance and increases efficiency.
Unique and innovative tread design with small, high-density blocks reduces vibrations and guarantees a comfortable and quiet driving experience.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.

Berlin Tires delivers again
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Good grip in the wet
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Summer HP 2 genuinely surprised me. Good balance of comfort and handling. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Good all-rounder
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering.

Fair tyre for the money
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Good balance of comfort and handling. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Pleasantly surprised
Very quiet on tarmac. The Summer HP 2 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Bought on price, staying for the quality. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Impressed so far
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.
