Description

A005 Weather Control - safety all year round.

Bridgestone A005 Weather Control's tread pattern distributes water quickly and reduces the risk of aquaplaning. The tyre has a special all-weather compound that offers superb performance all year round.

Superior Wear Life
Qualified snow performance
Excellent wet performance with lower risk of aquaplaning

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Seal: Self-sealing technologyA sealing layer inside the tyre can close certain small punctures in the tread area. Its limits vary by manufacturer and a damaged tyre should still be inspected.

Decent for the price
Third car I've run on Bridgestone. Consistent quality every time. Wet braking is excellent. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Confidence in corners
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Reliable all-season rubber
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Second set of Bridgestone on this car. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Handles well
My mechanic recommended Bridgestone and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints.

No complaints so far
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel.
