Description

The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.

Optimized pattern design:

High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and optimised distribution of void in centre part of the pattern ensures water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.

Improved carcass:

The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement guarantee a superior handling and a lower rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

New compound mixing technology:

New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.

Excellent wet adhesion
Excellent label grades
Superior wear life

No complaints so far
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Early days, but first impressions are very good.

Solid choice
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Not the last word in steering feel.

Happy with the purchase
Very quiet on tarmac. The Turanza T 005 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Not the last word in steering feel.
