The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.

Optimized pattern design:

High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and optimized distribution of void in centre part of the pattern guarantees water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.

Enhanced carcass:

The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement guarantee a superior handling and a lower rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

New compound mixing technology:

New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.
