Description

PremiumContact™ 6 – a truly premium experience.

Safety Silica Compounds:

The crystal silica composition enables superior braking performance especially in terms of wet road conditions. While keeping the safety performance at the maximum level, the mileage improved significantly – a solved conflict in tyre development.

Extended driving convenience updated by the comfort-optimised performance footprint:

The wear-fine-tuned polymer blend delivers an excellent improvement of more than 15% in mileage performance. In addition, the smooth pattern stiffness improves driving comfort and mileage, and lowers the exterior noise.

Enhanced handling thanks to fine-tuned pattern design:

The advanced macro-block design ensures maximum control and cornering stability. Furthermore, the asymmetric rib geometry provides a better grip under the effect of lateral forces.

Extended driving convenience updated by the comfort-fine-tuned performance footprint
Sporty driving in every car thanks to handling-optimised pattern design
Maximum wet braking while improving mileage due to Safety Silica Compounds

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Good grip in the wet
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Fitted them at a mate's garage. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Would buy again
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Stable and precise in summer heat. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Good, not perfect
Very quiet on tarmac. The PremiumContact 6 made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.

Great on the motorway
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Braking feels secure
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Early days, but first impressions are very good. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Handles well
