Grip:
The ContiSportContact™ 5 adapts to the road surface, giving enhanced grip and handling when accelerating and cornering.
Braking:
Featuring Black Chilli Technology, the ContiSportContact™ 5 is reactive, giving shorter braking distances on wet and dry roads.
Mileage:
The unique tyre composition ensures considerably reduced rolling resistance – for higher mileage and reduced fuel consumption.
The tyre features the SSR system (Self-Supporting Run-Flat Tyre). Should a puncture occur, you can continue to drive up to 80 kilometres, at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, by modifying your driving style. Only possible with a functionable air pressure check system.

Good grip in the wet
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Reliable summer rubber
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The SportContact 5 SSR grips well on dry roads. Very quiet on tarmac. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
