Description

Reliability off-road:

The aggressive tread pattern has excellent features and won't let you down on muddy, sandy, rocky or loose ground on your off-road adventures.

Central 3-2 profile ribs:

The alternating 3-2 pattern of the central tread ribs offers a number of major benefits, such as: lower road noise, greater stability and driving characteristics, superior traction on soft surfaces (slopes) and mud, balanced wear and lower drift.

Armor-tek³ carcass construction:

The powerful carcass construction consists of two radial belts and an angled belt, each of which is made of polyester and provides protection against breakage and shock damage.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Solid summer tyre
Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Pleasantly surprised
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Switched from a budget brand to the Discoverer STT PRO POR — the difference in braking is obvious.

Confidence in corners
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Third car I've run on Cooper. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
