Symmetrical V pattern increases water drainage up to 78 l/s (tested Size: 205/55R16) and boosts aquaplaning abilities

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Reliable winter rubber
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending.

Good all-rounder
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. My mechanic recommended Falken and he was right.

Decent for the price
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
