Description

Next-Generation Winter Perfomance Tyre

Symmetrical V pattern increases water drainage up to 78 l/s (tested Size: 205/55R16) and boosts aquaplaning abilities
Additional interlocking 3D sipes in the shoulder for improved block stiffness and driving stability
Miura-Ori 3D sipes provide safe braking performance and more traction on snow covered roads
Up to 9% reduced tyre weight for better rolling resistance and reduced resource consumption
Advanced 4D-Nano Design Technology is used for better wet grip, reduced fuel usage and longer tyre lifespan

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Solid choice
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Wet braking is excellent. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Worth the money
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Decent tyre at a fair price. Holds well in snow and slush.

Okay for everyday driving
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Eurowinter HS02 genuinely surprised me. Holds well in snow and slush.
