Fortuna is a private label, developed and controlled in Europe. The brand is owned by Deldo and has been produced in Asia since 2005.

Internal control from Deldo ensures the brand’s long-term product and quality development. New sizes are introduced into the program every season.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Good grip in the wet
Bought a full set of Fortuna for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Braking feels secure
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Third car I've run on Fortuna. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
