Description

The high-performance winter tyre for challenging road conditions offers superb grip on snowy, wet and dry roads. The Snow-Catcher-Technology is a special arrangement of the tread grooves in the middle area. This compresses the snow and delivers an optimal basis for good grip. The "Bubble Blade" composite slat technology enables superb winter performance with good profile stability at the same time.

High mileage
Strong dry performance on winter roads
Outstanding control on snow

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Great on the motorway
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. They're okay. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Great on the motorway
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in.

Quiet and comfortable
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. Switched from a budget brand to the Kristall Control HP 2 — the difference in braking is obvious.

Confidence in corners
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Decent tyre at a fair price.
