The consistent further development of the directional, million-selling Kristall Montero with the latest tread compound for even better performance on snow and ice. Very well balanced and comfortable on wet and dry road surfaces. Shorter braking distances, superb traction and high resistance to aquaplaning ensure a safe drive in all road and weather conditions.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Braking feels secure
Second set of Fulda on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Solid everyday tyre. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Good, not perfect
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.
