Description

The tough All-Season tyre, perfect for all terrain

Delivers good off-road grip in wet and snowy conditions.
Long tread life
Well balanced on-road performances.

Certified for severe winter conditions (3PMSF alpine symbol)
M+S marking for mud and snow
Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity

One set for the entire year: the all-season compound and adaptable tread deliver safe driving in changing weather without the twice-yearly swap.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Does the job well
My mechanic recommended Gripmax and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Solid summer tyre
Second set of Gripmax on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Pleasantly surprised
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Braking feels secure
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
