Description

The Winter i*cept RS3 was specially developed for compact and mid-size cars. Thanks to the fine-tuned block stiffness and enhanced ice traction, driving on icy roads becomes safer. A water drainage notch and a water and slush groove reduce the risk of aquaplaning. The new W-shaped tread with inclined tread blocks guarantees better steering control in the rain and the 3D winter sipes reduce braking distances. Thanks to the fine-tuned rubber compound, wear is reduced and the new construction achieves enhanced road contact. This means you can drive safely through the cold season.

    Fine tyre, minor niggles

    Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Switched from a budget brand to the Winter i*cept RS3 W462 — the difference in braking is obvious. Not the last word in steering feel.
