What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

All-round good pick
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Does exactly what a summer tyre should.

Good, not perfect
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Very quiet on tarmac.

A step up from my old set
Switched from a budget brand to the All-Turi 221 — the difference in braking is obvious. Good summer tyre for the money.

Okay for everyday driving
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Reliable summer rubber. Stable and precise in summer heat. Not the last word in steering feel.

Worth the money
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch.

Handles well
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
