What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Fitted and forgotten
Switched from a budget brand to the All-Turi 221 — the difference in braking is obvious. Second set of Hifly on this car. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Does the job well
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Stable and precise in summer heat.

A step up from my old set
Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Happy with the purchase. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Solid choice
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Reliable summer rubber
Second set of Hifly on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
