As a summer tyre, the Ecsta PS71 SUV is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Better than expected
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Fine for the price. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
