Description

WinterCraft WP72 – a winter tyre built for safe cold-season driving

For mid-range and luxury cars
One of the ultra-high performance tyres
With M+S marking and snow flake symbol
Winter tyres for the highest demands

Certified for severe winter conditions (3PMSF alpine symbol)
M+S marking for mud and snow
Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity
Integrated rim protection strip against kerb damage

When temperatures drop, the winter compound and fine siping take over: reliable traction on snow, stable handling in slush and short braking distances in the cold.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Decent for the price
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. They're okay.

Quiet and comfortable
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great.

Pleasantly surprised
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Nice upgrade
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Steering response improved straight away after fitting.

Strong performer
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Very happy with these
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Holds well in snow and slush.
