Description

Top-level performance and safety all year round, whatever the weather.

The G FIT 4S provides optimum

performance in a variety of driving environments in all weather conditions throughout the year.

Properties

Multi safety (braking and steering): Guaranteed safety with enhanced grip and steering control.
hybrid performance (dry, wet and snow): Optimized driving performance in all weather conditions.
Highly grippy silica compound: Enhanced performance in the wet.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Handles well
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Great value for money
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Reliable all-season rubber
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Great value for money
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
