What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Okay for everyday driving
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.

Smooth ride
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.
