M+S marking for mud and snow

Designed for the cold season, this tyre combines a winter compound with a tread pattern that packs snow for grip and clears slush quickly. Steering and braking stay reassuring on icy and snow-covered roads.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Not the last word in steering feel.
